About

I build worlds, then build the systems that keep them usable.

Brian Laliberte is a narrative designer, worldbuilder, RPG creator, and creative-systems thinker based in New Jersey.

He has spent more than twenty-five years writing and editing fiction and has developed Unknown Shores as a long-running original fantasy setting across tabletop play, World Anvil publishing, continuity work, archival reconstruction, visual presentation, and digital-product prototyping.

The work has made one problem impossible to ignore. A fictional world can become too complex to manage long before it runs out of creative potential.

That is where Brian's professional and creative experience meet. More than twenty years in New Jersey Superior Court operations have reinforced habits that also matter in large narrative systems: documentation, confidentiality, procedural accuracy, source evidence, stakeholder communication, and the ability to keep complicated work coherent over long periods.

He applies those habits to world bibles, campaign architecture, continuity, canon reconciliation, adventure design, creative archives, narrative products, and information systems built around what writers, players, editors, and designers actually need.
