Relying on the magic items, etc. that were either brought to the battle or were looted from the forces of the Rising Scourge to instantly flee the battlefield and return to Areeott. Once back, he and the noble houses loyal to him, turned on the homes and castles of the other Baronial families, looting and destroying them.
