Battle of Red Tide

In affect a naval guerilla war around the Black Shore Island, it was a last ditch effort between Avindor, Estania, Louve and Alaecia for the valuable trading hub. It ended in a stalemate thanks to the intervention of several pirate fleets under the banner of the vicious Crimson Skulls. No side was ever able to stake a steady claim to any of the territory nor could any of them, particularly Avindor, afford to continue financing the war. The Battle is so named for the dead, as their blood stained the waters around the island of Saint Marshall red with blood.
