Emberfeast
A two week long autumn celebration. Originally a feast holiday to mark the end of the harvest season and eat a grand meal among friends and family to warm your spirits for the dark months of the winter to come; It has become a celebration of the agriculture bounty, traditional artisanal craft goods, performing arts, beer, wine, chocolate and all things that celebrate the land of areeott and Arin culture. It is a world famous event.
The world-famous beer festival, Emberfeast is held annually across Areeott, although the largest celebration is in the city of Vinlin and is a celebration of Arin culture. It features beer tents, traditional music, food, and costumes. The name comes from sitting around the fire, sharing the bounty of the land and the fest to be had until the fire is embers. Traditionally, a large bonfire is kept lit for the entire length of the festival. A large wooden dragon skull is lit in the capitol's bonfire at the one week mark, meant to symbolise actual dragon bones that were once used to burn for this purpose. A statement on the defeat and hate for dragon kind as a symbol of their duty.
